I had watched a video where this pretty mexcian girl had talked about someone who was detransitioning and it seemed like a good topic to talk about soooooooo... I thought I would put my two cents/sense? in about the matter
@sucacinj1 I've recorded some speaking/singing clips recently. I reviewed some of your videos right around Christmas and some of candiFLA's stuff just yesterday, so keep that in mind timeline-wise. I'm curious what you think, if you have the time/interest in reviewing anything. i'll send you a private message with a link -- and thank you for the encouragement =) --os
@xosx Don't worry your voice will come in time that whole practice makes perfect saying works the same with training your voice. Thanks for the comment
@sucacinj1 [cont] things that I'm used to saying a certain way. I haven't noticed my vocal patterns in general starting to follow or become similar to the sound of the repeated things, but I haven't been working on it all that long yet. I'll let you know how things go =)
@sucacinj1 I'm doing the counting from 0-20 technique. I try to aim for my current voice pitch around 10-15 so that 20 is a little uncomfortable. I'm repeating a few words and phrases---I think it's helpful for retraining muscle memory for [cont...]
@xosx Are you using that technique as well right now and if so how is it doing for you? I'm only asking because I don't get a lot of feedback back on the techniques that I've collected and developed.
@sucacinj1 Thank you =) Btw keep up the awesome work. I recommended your practicing-one-word-a-lot-before-adding-on technique just last night to a fellow mtf on IRC <3
@Charlene68100 [cont] Telling family/friends "My birth sex bothers me,I'll research, meditate, experiment, maybe switch sexes if I'd be happier" usually gets replies like "Umm, ok"/"Can't deal with that"/disowning.Society sucks that way,it'd be better if others were as supportive as when changing careers or taking up a meaningful hobby.TG's more serious, tho:your identity&life&social circle are at stake. It's scary, and being unsupportive or angry doesn't help!Know you understand tho=)
Some transgendered people detransition due to the loss of family and friends, it's sad
