Acetylene experiment goes badly wrong!

This is our chemistry teacher trying to do an oxygen + acetylene experiment (O2 + C2H2), but I think it was more powerful than he expected.

@Haqpyfeet Yea it is really scary but he problably used too much acetylene.

@carfenaticman123 Oh I dont know what would have fallen out, glass perhaps. Then again, the explosion might have been less severe if there was more room for the gasses to expand. At any rate, it's pretty scary having so many people there without eye protection facing glass shards.

I suspect that this teacher will never make the same mistake again.

@bamboo4tameshigiri If he haven't of shut the shield who knows what would fly out of there and hit someone. The stupid thing was that he used oxy-acetylene if oxygen and heat is combined to the acetylene it makes a bomb pretty much.
