A motherless child ( Song for LaReina ))
See I still remember
How it used to be
When I was a child
And yes she gave birth to me
But by giving birth to me
She brought me pain and sorrow
And not happy childhood memories
I am the queen I wish to be
But ghosts from childhood still keep bugging me
You betrayed me mother
You sold me mother
You gave away my happy childhood dreams
You never was
You never will be,
Never have been
A mother
I am a motherless child
I am a motherless child
Motherless child, motherless child
As years pass by
As tears go by
All life did was keep me alive
It seemed to lead me to my hopeless deed
Killing ain't a hopeful feat
Walls of thick concrete
Let me sink away in tragedy
I learned the hard way
To make the best of life
When the walls keep closing in
When the walls keep closing in
In on me
Here I stand tall
A woman so much wiser than ever before
I have conquered
hatred
growing inside of me
Learned to let it go
Release the anger
Banish the pain
When life embraced me again
Giving love still goes painfully
Hurting me
Still hurting me
Sometimes it still hurts me so
I am a motherless child
I am a motherless child
I am a motherless child
Motherless child, motherless child
I am the queen I wished to be
A purple lady
Drained with awful memories
I am the queen I want to be
But still I stand tall
A woman wiser than ever before
I have conquered
hatred
growing inside of me
But nothing can change
Nothing can change
But nothing can change
My childhood memories
Childhood memories
