@TheLightningspeed Actually that's my wife, and she thanks you. The gal in uniform is my niece.

@Gadd08 Attitude is more important than strength and agility. If you have the right attitude your possibilities will be limitless. Also, enjoy the ride. This will be something in life that you will never forget. I wish you well and God Bless You on your way.

Man, I was there in '91 and we had no chairs in our day room! But, to make up for it, we had a huge C-5A Galaxy mural on one wall! 3743rd!

@Quantanthead If you can pass the testing, go Air Force. If you want to shoot and be shot at, go Army. If you want to learn something useful in real life, go USAF!
I want to join the reserves. I just dont know if i want to do Army or Air Force...

@morrissy777 I would say go Air Force if you are choosing from the two.

@Quantanthead Hmm, why?

@morrissy777 I retired from the Navy so I am not speaking from experience. I've known many who went in the Air Force and they have really liked it. In the Army you may be more apt to be called up and put on the front line somewhere too. Check out what each offers as far as college tuition or college program if that's something you might like as well. It's mostly about attitude if anything though. You can make it either way. I see the Air Force as just being more fun and friendly.

@Quantanthead Thanks for the advice. See, thats the thing. I'm not sure if i want it to be more fun and friendly, or if maybe i wouldnt mind being called up. Its a hard choice right now. Is it possible to change your mind while enlisted?
morrissy777 2 months ago
@morrissy777 Don't think you can change your mind while you are enlisted. I know many that were in one, did there time and then went in another. I signed the dotted line on Dec 16th, 1980 and didn't report to bootcamp until August of 1981. I never gave the Army or Marines any thought. Follow after peace and you will make the right choice.
