I think it's a neat light, but it's nothing that my Olight can't do with a lens adapter (and with 50 more lumens). There is a market for aspheric lensed lights, but I don't think that this fits it. Most people who buy these want tons of throw, which, while this probably has more throw than the equivalent regular-lensed LED light, it won't be anything to write home about.
Also, the "Torch HD vs Regular LED" beam comparison is quite unfair. The other beam is obviously an incandescent Maglite.

I have one, have used it personally and shown it to a number of LE guys who think it is extremely bright and find the square beam useful for crime scene investigation. Also great for searching cars because shadows are eliminated. A SWAT guy I know likes it because he can light up an entire room upon entry whereas other lights lose intensity towards the edges which affects peripheral vision.
