While in Houston area being of service to people affected by Hurricane Ike, I came across the Pasadena, TX Public Safety Agencies responding to a fire on Day 8 after Ike. Because of what I have seen there myself, I couldn't even watch this 'til I got home, and especially could not even touch it until some one told me no one was hurt. I seek only to recognize the Pasadena TX Building & Safety, Police and Fire Depts. in their tremendous efforts to maintain public order and safety when they themselves are struggling with Hurricane Ike's aftermath. This is a text book example of an emergency response with the fire quenched in about four minutes with live electrical lines sparking and arcing. To the best of my knowledge, no other media were present so this is sort of a vid blog exclusive. Hopefully, this may shed light on the fact that that these brave people are still working very hard more than two weeks after the storm always with the greatest of attitude and spirit and true determination and perseverance.
