  • hey did they say if this Dogie had been discontinued or not I saw a Programmable Robot that could do 10,000 things you just had to program it at winners no less... you know they get stuff from businesses that go belly up... I realy wonder how good an AI chip there is out there most are used as Missile brains for Tomahawk cruse missiles and the like.kind of a wast of such a sophisticated and expensive chip probably someone got a hold of a Declassified chip...

  • @JustinJJHCS1 Hi Justin - I believe the company still sells the Genibo-QD, however I pretty much consider it discontinued as they have NEVER released a firmware update which I hope they would have released for it....

  • Hey, this should be an official commercial!!!

  • @RougeRoks Yah, that was the intent, to make a video that they could use if they wanted to.

  • Pcenginefx i have good news! In 8-5-2010 i will have my own Genibo (black) and i will do a video with it!

  • @johnarcheus Hey great news! Please make sure to let me know when you get it and make sure to post up lots of videos of your new pup!

  • can it take a wizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @RougeRoks never Had one myself but $5,000 US was a bit steep... so they had more then 350 behaviours and all there motors where quiet... they also had flaws and memory sticks where not cheap and you had to back it up and the batteries packed in and if you need the AIBOS fixed forget it you would have to be the original owner for that. Genibo's are supposed to be a toy... not a Geek toy $1,300 US is still steep.

  • @Pcenginefx embedded software patches imply that there product is flawed I think there Manufacturer is Chinese and they Never admit flaws of failed RISC chips Do not need updating.. they got smart making this doggy....

it's mind will grow depending on memory space and built in logistics 350 behaviours is limited? do you most real dogs know less then 50 words some have a Higher IQ but this doggy can me programmed!!

  • This Robot Owns.

  • I have to wait till christmas to get a pick one :'(

  • @PreziraManagement Wow. You're pretty small-minded.

The SONY AIBOS were probably one of the best entertainment robots out there. They were, scratch that, ARE, worth every penny. They are highly intelligent, have a huge amount of AI, and are very entertaining too. They are so fun to play with even at an age of 30. I love my ERS-7s, and they talk to me and recognize my face and voice. They are probably way more open-minded than you. Have a nice day and brush up on your robots. D:<

  • @Urstupidumbass Agreed.
