Simple to Love// Chapter Four

I walked into the school with a fake smile. I hated the fact of thinking mostly thoughts. But I never did 'think' I was always so busy or getting high of heroine. I smiled at people and was stopped occasionally to have a small conversation with someone. Then I finally made it to first period. I took my seat and started out the window and for a second I thought I saw a girl starring at the school. But I doubted it no one lives in that old warehouse across the street.

School was finally over for the day. Today was my only day of freedom. No football practice, student council meeting, charity work, volunteering, or club activities. The first thing I did was went to the 'spot'. I drove up the alley, got out slamming the door letting 'them' know it was me and I'm here. I took a seat and relaxed feeling the prick of the needle, but only for a second. Then this great rush of warmth quickly followed, filling my whole body from my toes right up to the top of my head. I couldn't move for a minute as she guided the needle in and out of my vein. When she was done, I felt like I had entered heaven. A heaven I could actually escape too! My phone vibrated, a text. "Please come back to me, I miss you! No I need you, I must have you back!" My mind rushed with memories and I hated it, this feeling of sorrow and regret. What was she doing texting me? She hasn't spoken to me in ages. Why should I go back to her after what she's done to me? I supposed I started to cry because she asked if I wanted more. I nodded my head and I could feel the prick of the needle again. I slid back in my seat and drifted off into my own heaven and the thought of her faded away.
