He is a scholarship student in the Preparatory Division of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where he studies the violin with Li Lin; Kenneth is also enrolled in the Chamber Music Program. At age 8, Kenneth performed at Carnegie Hall as a member of the Villa Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra. The same year, he played for San Francisco mayors Willie Brown and Art Agnos.

In 2007, he won First Place in the San Francisco Bay Area American String Teachers Association Competition and Alternate First Place in the California State VOCE Competition of the Music Teachers Association of California. He was also a winner in the Jr. Bach Festival Auditions for three years (2006 to 2008). Kenneth received Second Place in the Oakland East Bay Symphony Concerto Competition and was featured in a pre-concert performance at the Paramount Theater with that symphony in 2008.

  • i feel bad for cys... they have to compete with people who arent even in their orchestra for their concerto competitions

  • @yellotheemcee That's not true. There's the young artist competition and there are senior soloist competition. The young artist competition is for the May concert and can feature anyone who is under 18. The senior soloist competition is limited to only seniors in the orchestra and that concert occurs in May.

  • @xplorer1991 i stand correcteddd

then i feel bad for the non seniors in cys

  • @yellotheemcee True, but they'll get their chance when they become seniors.
