Die beste Interpretation des Liedes überhaupt.
Ein hervorragendes Dirigat!!!

This is beautiful. I'm doing this for a choir competition coming up next month, and I am so excited because it's beautiful!

I personally like the quicker tempo. In fact, on of our judge's comments when my men's choir performed this at the state music festival was that this piece was often too slow, but our tempo (roughly same as this) sounded better
Regardless of tempo, that was incredible.

Great sound, and a sensitive performance that shows an understanding of the work. Mulholland's version is beloved to me. While I do see some comments about the tempo--comments I understand--I admire the tempo in this performance. The rubatos have more meaning and impact. Sluggish performances of this piece tend to have lots of deeper breaths, which in turn chops up the flow. I like this interpretation; the director and the singers "get" this music, and I am in deep appreciation.

Lovely, but too fast.

I love this version, and have listened to so many on you tube, This conductor did a great job! I love this song! Just listen the the crescendo, and decrescendo in the right places, and her face she loves the song too!!!

Absolutely beautiful!!! We sang this back in high school 15 years ago. I have been looking for this song for a long time...brings back so many wonderful memories. Thank you!!!

beautiful tone, and intonation, diction was very clear. I want to see so much more expressiveness, the text itself is gorgeous, both demanding and deserving the most sensitive possible treatment. I wouldn't want to rush through telling my Amalia how much I love her...., just something to think about, but otherwise some great things happening.

This version is the best. Truly amazing Mulholland. I like the Rene Clausen version to but this version really touches the heart.
-
Superb. I've been looking for this version for a while, and this is an excellent performance.

Excellent Intonation!!! Very difficult on this one... Nicely done.

post it!!! This is the best version of this that I've found, and if yours is better, then I definitely want to hear it :-)
We did this song when I was in high school in All-County or All-District... I don't remember which anymore... going to All-State was by far one of the most memorable, lovely musical memories that I have! Nostalgia is a wonderful thing :-) Even better when you can share it :-)

I learned of this piece a few years ago but had never actually heard it performed before. I have the choral score sitting on my piano and love the voice parts, but the piano part is beautiful too. The closing chords in particular express so well such a sense of melancholy yet the hope of being reunited one day. I love playing and hearing them. Bravo to the composer and to the choral ensemble. Well done and what a pleasure to hear and see. Thank you and good wishes to all. Jim T.

i love the song. it has such a beauty to it. we did this for festival, and got a superior rating.

I sang this in the Arkansas All State Choir way back in 1990. It was beautiful. It was a 200 piece choir. I'd have to say I think we were much better, but this was good too although the piano was a little loud for me. I'd post our version, but it's audio only. If anyone want's me to, I will though.
