  • The lyrics to this piece are not Psalm 8. I just chose this chant because it fits the mood - It's Victimae Paschali, by the Amsterdam STudents Schola Cantorum. But I don't know what it says. Psalm 8 is just the text I put up.

  • Psalm 137:9

  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (October 3), Psalm 8 was our Sunday School Lesson. It was entitled "Caring for Creation."

  • Hi! I've got a question: Do you have the whole piece?

And I wonder whether it's really psalm 8. I don't quite understand the text, but I hear quite a few Christi, Christus etc. (but psalm = old testament)

AND I'd like to know that piece because the beginning of the chant is the melody of the oldest German hymn "Christ ist erstanden" (Christ has risen).

  • Great wore, Godflame. thanks for uploading & sharing this wonderful piece with the world. God bless you. Amen!!!
