I made a quick SD-GameCube adapter like this to test SDLOAD on my Wii (its indeed ugly but it works). Its made with an old SD-USB adapter and the original GC memory card PCB (i just removed the memory chip from it). Thanks to Simon van de Berg "scorpei" for the connection diagram.

  • Question: does it work to save games normally, without any homebrew?

  • you should find some kind of casing to put it in and tape/glue it closed. I'll look like you have a huge memory card though, lol.

  • im sorry to ask but is there any other way to use a gamecube memory card adaptor to save games? my old gamecube card is 8mb and recently i saw the adaptor for a pound so i brought it but i dont know how to work it though. im not really that comfortable to take it apart like this. LOL

  • you can save gamecube games with a gamecube memory card with the wii its compatible with those

  • can you give me a link here you learn to construct that?

  • Did you not read where he said "to test SDLOAD on my Wii"? He already has one.

  • just get a wii. it has an SD port. but you cant save gamecube games on it though.

  • i wana make one to. But dont you need any kind of software to make that thing work???

  • Really?

  • damn that is one ugly thing but hey at least it works right?must of been hard
