memotone bedroom session July 2009 MPC 1000, Boss RC 50, Kaoss Pad 3, Yamaha NP 30 and Kaossilator

A short piece I put together for some live perfomances I did over this month. The Beats have been programmed on cubase previously and put into the MPC as samples, but all the sounds were still made by me. Everything you hear is from my own recordings just sadly, something I cannot do live all at once. So I have to fall back on the beauty of the MPC 1000. The electronic sounding noise is made on the Kaossilator and the Kaoss Pad 3 is being used for effects (the piano and the kaossilator running through it) And then all the loops are being made in real time on the Boss RC-50.

did you actually manage to sync the rc-50 to the mpc or is it your perfect timing on hitting the rec button that makes it staying in sync?

@fraojfljtlnbsd yeah i hear a lot of people about sync mmm i just play it on time too...so what does sync really mean? not playing on time but soundindg on time ? excuse my ingnorance.

@ganjagladiator A sync is when each devices MIDI computer is syncronised with one Master. You could set the MPC as a master of the Loop Pedal. That way, all the tempos stay the same and all the loops are exactly on beat. It may also quantize your loop (which means it sets the loop length automatically to the nearest beat or bar.)

@ganjagladiator how can sync my rc 50 to a drum machine for example noticed the two outlets in and out...and then do i have to program something like press a button??? on the rc 50 o t all happens automaticlly?
