@funkyzero Yeaah! I found about that, after I got the ticket for the show. I am super super excited to see my favorite artists playing together after so many years. They are performing 3 nights in Philadelphia, and I am going to the first night. Just 2 more months!

@icedangel61 You could get your wish. Gilmour is showing at an unannounced stop in his current US tour of the wall. I'm doing Chicago Sept 24th and crossing my fingers!
I saw him on his Dark Side tour a few years ago and it was the most powerful show I've seen in all my years. Any Color You Like and Great Gig were impossible to listen to sitting down.

to be honest, how do you write a song like "comfortably numb" and keep going. It's their best song and hard to top even for them as waters felt his best music was behind him at the age of 30!

fraaip,i agree that post waters,floyd were not the same.yes the wall is a roger masterpiece,it is beautiful. but come on my friend you can never dismiss dark side w here every band member contributed.wish and animals are good as well you know? echoes at pompeii,is good as well. pink floyd is all about the sum of its parts.or was.i think,that every member of that band contributed, and left us lovers of floyd a legacy so we can discuss and argue about who is best and which is the best albumn

Imagine this...Roger Waters was the "Razor Blade" of "Pink Floyd". He could cut you in half with a simple phrase or comment. That voice. That EMOTION.
Okay, Dave Gilmour maybe more harmonic, but just imagine if it was Roger who sang "What Do You Want From Me" off "The Division Bell" album!
That would tear anyone to pieces!!!
