Asuka has several moves that link into each other in multiple ways, creating the possibility of combos that hit high, medium, or low at will, and with an endless number of hits. You can start this combo off with the Jab, Lunging Mist Thrust, Swallow Mallet, Dragon Wheel Kick, Leg Cutter, or the Blizzard Combo. Depending on the order of the combo, you can finish with the Thunder Fall Kick, White Heron Dance (and Lower Dance), Piercing Spear (Jab to Low Kick), Sacred Blade, or the Double Lift Upper (which is a juggle opener). As long as you don't cap it off with a finisher, you can throw non-stop attacks pretty much endlessly. Study (in the Command List) the Whiplash Combo, the Leg Cutter Combo, and the Blizzard Combo (and their variations), as well as what the other starters link to. What the Command List doesn't tell you is that the combos keep linking into each other, where the "end" of one is the "beginning" of another, but it's really one long string.

Here's how it works: The Leg Cutter links to the Blizzard. The Blizzard links to either the Leg Cutter or the Whiplash. The Whiplash links to either the Leg Cutter or back into itself. Of course, being NON-stop doesn't make it UN-stoppable, but these combos are a lot of fun to practice, and when mastered they can be unpredictable and overwhelming. Here are a few examples in a video.

1. Whiplash (x5) - Whiplash Double Lift Upper = (18-hits 256-damage)

2. Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x3) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard White Heron Dance / Inner Strength

3. Swallow Mallet - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Whiplash - Double Lift Upper / Blizzard (first 2 hits)

4. Blizzard - Whiplash - Double Lift Upper / Blizzard (first 2 hits) / Jab - Whiplash Double Lift Upper = (12-hits 102-damage)

5. Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard White Heron Dance // Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard White Heron Dance = (9.75 seconds)

6. Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Whiplash Double Lift Upper

7. Whiplash (x5) - Whiplash Sacred Blade = (17-hits 260-damage)

8. Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter = (8.5 seconds)

9. Whiplash (x2) - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Whiplash (x2) - Whiplash Double Lift Upper

10. Blizzard - Whiplash - Double Lift Upper / Whiplash / Exorcisor = (11-hits 110-damage)

11. Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Whiplash (x3) = (8.2 seconds)

12. Swallow Mallet - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Leg Cutter (x2) - Blizzard - Leg Cutter - Blizzard - Whiplash - Double Lift Upper / Blizzard (first 2 hits)

13. Whiplash (x4) - Whiplash Double Lift Upper / Whiplash Sacred Blade = (18-hits 267-damage)

Notes: (1) The problem with the Blizzard / Leg Cutter loop is that it all hits high and low, so a simple crouching guard can defend the whole thing. Catch your opponent off-guard with the White Heron Dance, or segway into the Whiplash for more mid-level attacks. (2) Yes, the Leg Cutter resets the combo counter after the initial hit. (3) To get a higher hit-count with the Whiplash loop, you have to let the first hit miss. (It's the same trick that worked for B. Orchid in Killer Instinct to get her 48-hit Ultras). (4) Yes, this is an old trick that worked for Jun Kazama back before she died at the hands of the mighty Ogre, but not everyone caught onto it, so here you go.

  • yow those attacks are blockable

  • boytiga06 -- Well of course. I even show them being blocked at 1:23 and 2:12 in the video. Any standing combo can be blocked, parried, or reversed.

  • are these combos supposed to be more than 4 diferent ones?

  • jj266 -- No, these are not supposed to be "combos" at all. The point of the video is to demonstrate the many ways in which Asuka's attacks can link together without delay, since no other character in ekken 5 has this attribute and the Command List doesn't explain it.

  • All these "combos" are blockable or can be parried.

  • mantys555 -- Well obviously. I even show them being blocked in #6 and #9. Did you miss the point of the video?

  • i like using asuka most of the time whenever i play tekken 5...

  • i like to make ppl madd when i use her. i also try to avoid her using her. When i play with my cousins they ask why i play with everyone except her. I usually say to them "because you'll kicked your ass kicked 5 times faster"XDD i always use that second combo

  • #6 makes a nice beat lol

  • Nice , I mostly use asuka for low or high combos , I came here trying to find a suitable close combat combo.I will try your #4 :) Nice job with the video. And if you don't mind me asking , how did you get 2 tekken lords?

  • Those combos are cool but they really wont work. Thats not how you use asuka in the right way. All that will get parried blocked or ducked. And they wont work on me i am u asuka and i use her really good

  • you repeat your moves, move 7 is the 1st move...

  • You can block many of those combinations you are using..

  • 0:19 how did you got 2 tekken lords? on mine it doesn't let me show tekken lord in the second controller (it sounds complicated but what i meant was that player 2 doesn't show the character's rank on mine ).

  • Pure Rapeness

  • These links can't be used in a real fight because as shown in 6 and 9 they can be easily blocked by players especially since they're used in a cycle. They're good links but I think they're best used not as a cycle but to confuse the opponent by changing the last hit after rooting in his mind that you'll just use the same move. Good vid though.

  • Well, this doesn't actually work on real people. Unless they don't know how to block or duck even once...

  • i agree with this..
