Mr.Taritz aren't all katas in okinawan karate and japanese, a form of moving meditation? or even tai chi and qigong a form of that? What do you mean by 3 centers? is it body ,mind and spirit or super consious mind? TO reach enlightment don't you have to devlope your mental and physical energy as wellas your ki. it just dosen't happen over night.

Yes to each thing you have said. Gurdjieff spoke of 3(5) Centers: the "moving"/ "instinctive" center , the "Emotional" center and the "intellectual" center. They correspond to the "carriage" ,the "horse" and the " cabbie" Each man need endeavor to 'return' the "Master" ( or "passenger")! to 'instruct' the driver of His "aim' or "Wish" Also corresponding to : the 'way of the fakir'(body). the 'way of the monk'(emotions) and the 'way of the yogi'(mind).

Great movements. Weve actually used similar movements here in Iraq against the enemy.

Do the 3 centers represent the parts of us that hold us back from enlightenment and from practice we can resist them? Is it possible you can make a video that steps this out and are there certain types of martail art schools I can go to that teach these moving meditations? Sorry for all these questions I'm just curious. Where did you even began to learn this stuff and where do you practice it? xD

The failure to operate properly in the 3 centers is what holds us back

The inability to attain the 3rd level of Consciousness is what holds us back. Without self remembering you cannot be or do anything, you are just a Machine or Automaton and without level 3 you cannot obtain the fourth level which is Objective Consciousness. Jesus said this as well but no one can see it because they are asleep. He said it over and over. Wake, Sleep not, Watch, Know Thyself. Per Gurdjieff the Church has completely destroyed the original message and teachings of Jesus.

The best thing for U to do is Read Gurdjieff Material.
In Search of the Miraculous
Meeting of Miraculous Men
Life is real only then when I am
Views from the Real World
The Fourth Way

After reading the material, U will have a huge insight into the teachings and as you read along you will know whether or not you want to continue learning.

Considering that you seem very interested I think you will be stimulated on many topics and then if u choose to go further, find a Gurdjieff Group near you.
