We spent Easter in my home town of Melbourne, and while there, got to enjoy a lot of aspects that I had missed for so many years lol. Simple things, clear sky, stars at night, the sweet smell of hot,Polish jam donuts as you walk past bakeries, the incredible coffee that Melb is famous for globally, clean beaches, the ability to drive on wonderful coastal roads for hours and hours.... But, what I I really missed, was the creative music scene, the street music and performing art scene in particular. Like many out door gardened cities around the globe, be it Montmartre or St Germaine in Paris or Melbourne, its nice to see what the average joe in the street can do, providing a bit of colour, that actually makes you feel good about being amongst it... Good for the soul...
These Peruvian guys have played in this same location, every Sunday for many years, and i was delighted, that they were still playing, during my visit to buy some " freshly Roasted " coffee beans to take back to Hong Kong.
