@Eidzei7 A person studying that at Hatfield Poly wil know nothing about the music business after their course either. They'll certainly get plenty of experience of throwing paper darts in lectures, propping up the student bars, and generally dossing around!!

Lots of people here saying bad things about Hatfield Poly, now University of Hertfordshire. However, these negative statements are usually about what I would consider 'joke' degrees. I am planning on studying Marketing at Herts next year, is it really as bad as these comments make it out to be, or is that just on some courses?

The only good course they offer is How To Get A British Passport By Pretending To Be An 'International Student' for 7 years'? The rest is just party party party, drink drink drink. The standards are so low. This means 2.1s are given away like Christmas cards.

@CaraBrimleyRules Thumbs up for this comment, especially about the "experience of throwing paper darts in lectures"! And that's what the tutors do! I had one tutor at UH( or Hatfield Polly!) who used to waste most of the precious lecture and seminar time talking about the Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake and Heat Magazine. And I was doing a degree that had nothing to do with showbiz!!! If you got genuine talent and drive for anything, just stay AWAY from Hatfield !!
