SCORES Cup Poetry SLAM!

The 8th annual SCORES Cup is an adult coed charity soccer tournament that brings together more than 300 employees from top Bay Area companies for a fun day of soccer, networking, and team-building.

This year's roster of participating teams represent the financial, investment banking, legal, and internet, sports and fashion sectors: Hanson Bridgett, Bingham McCutchen, Google, Ernst & Young, Thomson Reuters, Soccerfours Stubhub, TPG Capital, Silverlake, The SAK, Bain & Co., Goldman Sachs, Nextag, Sports Basement, Morgan Stanley and Salesforce. Past participants include: McKinsey & Co., Union Bank, Autodesk, Bloomberg, Deloitte, Jones Day, Sports4Good, Starbucks and Yahoo!

America SCORES Bay Area empowers students in urban communities using soccer, writing, creative expression, and service-learning. SCORES helps children find their own voice through poetry and creative expression, while also helping them to be physically active and belong to a team. SCORES offers programs to more than 1000 students in San Francisco, Oakland, and West Contra Costa. Since 2001, SCORES continues to increase student school engagement, levels of physical activity, and students' sense of self-worth and belonging. The Bay Area is the largest affiliate site of the America SCORES national program.
