Degrassi/One Tree Hill Saddest Songs Contest (CLOSED, RESULTS UP!)

Fireteardrops and I are hosting our very first contest ever! We'll be judging both Degrassi and One Tree Hill videos, all of which MUST use a song or instrumental that's extremely sad/depressing/emotional in nature (e.g. Sia's "Breathe Me"). Here are some other important rules:

- DEADLINE IS SATURDAY, APRIL 4th!
- Submit as many videos as you want
- No slideshows please
- Stolen videos will obviously be taken out of contention
- Crossover videos are okay so long as at least one part is either OTH or Degrassi
- Must be at least 2 minutes long (some exceptions MAY be allowed upon review)
- Please post your submissions as video responses to THIS VIDEO (not fireteardrops's) in order to make things a little more organized
- Old videos ARE allowed however we encourage the submission of new videos in order for you best to achieve "the goal" (see: tips section)

If you have any questions about the rules please feel free to ask them in the comments section.

Tip 1: Your goal is essentially to make us cry (no, we aren't emo). Whether it be tears of joy, tears of sadness, or a mixture of both, we don't care. The point is to evoke some sort of emotion in us and in order to do that, it's important to remember that SOMETIMES less is more. See what you can work up for us.

Tip 2: If you're having trouble finding a song, http://www.worldssaddestsongs.com/ may be of help as it has a list of nearly 800 of what they consider the saddest songs in the world. And then there's google. Google is amazing...

In determining the winners we will have two categories: top 3 OTH videos and top 3 Degrassi videos. These individuals will all receive prizes by fireteardrops and I.

@Voonfrodle Yes. Most of the clips I used in this contest video are from Requiem. I'm still to this day annoyed by LOTR ripping off the piece to be honest.

Ah, that sucks... :( Would it be too much trouble to make a really, really simple video (doesn't even need audio) that you can attach here which has text in the description and/or actual video indicating which video you want to enter? That way I'll remember you've entered something. If the link is just in a PM or comment I'll most likely forget as I have a pretty shotty memory. Let me know if this works for you. ;)
