with DX10 i can't even PLAY the game with full graphics.
i sit around 30-40 with particles off, medium textures, 500m view distance... its terrible.

Im thinking of buying a new computer to play conan. Any clue how well this computer could run it.

I run everything maxed on Dx9 NOT A FLAW but on dx10 i can run good, just alot less FPS in some zones. THe DX10 is a little buggy still since its still the test form of it, so i'd just play in dx9.. the lightening as is with 3.0 shaders is amazing.. lol

heres a suggestion im not sure if it'll work bu u may have viruses fucking up ur computer so do a virus scan

I hope you know more than I do. My computer specs are:
Intel Q6600 @3.4GHZ (STABLE)
4gb of corsair ram (2.5gb available 1.5gb vram)
GTX260 Core 216 in SLI
Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 320GB HDD
With these sort of specs, I play fallout MAX and get 70 fps and that's with 16xCSAA 16xAF.
However when I play AoC, in Tortage the fps is stuck at around 10-20. WHY IS THIS? And even when I'm somewhere else the FPS are only around 50. Shouldn't I be getting WAY more FPS? My internet is fast as well (15mb)

Stock cpu - AMD Atholon x2 5200+ 2.60 Dual core cpu
4 gigs of ram (3.5 due to 32 bit os - 2 gig upgrade)
Nvidia GEforce 9800GT Superclocked edition. (also an upgrade~ had to upgrade psu for this as well)
Seagate Barracuda 7200 rpm 500 Gig HDD (stock)
