Come On Over & Pucker Up

Okay, I know there are lots of videos on YouTube about this topic, but since it's a topic that I feel strongly about I decided to add my two cents to it as well...and that's about women being criticized for their looks. I absolutely CANNOT stand it when I go on YouTube or Facebook and I see offensive and insulting comments people have left on videos/pictures regarding how a woman looks. I too have been through this and although I either ignore it or stand up to the person who made the comment, there are alot of women and girls out there who really take it to heart...not even just online but in general. What gives someone the right to do this? How would they feel if someone did it too them? It's hard enough when women are bombarded with images of what society considers to be "beautiful" (especially when alot of this is unattainable), but it's a huge slap in the face when someone (especially someone you don't even know) goes out of their way to say something nasty about them--to do this is disrespectful, mean and just plain hurtful. So, I just wanted to give my thoughts on it. Feel free to share your thoughts and stories. Due to the topic of this video, I ask that only positive comments be left--I WILL NOT stand by and let negative comments about myself or other YouTube be left on here. Any negative comments will immediately be deleted and/or reported.

Usually the people that leave negative comments on pictures are insecure about themselves.

So why would you even consider the opinion of someone If it is obvious that they are purposely trying to be disrespectful.?

Personally, the only opinion that matters to me is my own. If someone shares the same view as I do then that's great; but if they don't then I disregard them entirely when it comes to things like this.
