  • @jamesthered123 me too. move it off the fire. Put one flame off on your bbq and it should be there. Not over a flame. if your on a charcoal bbq then make an area that has no flame. Use the heat to cook it and the plank won't catch on fire.

  • i'm sure if you soaked the plank in a smaller body of water it would have a little more flavor go into the fish ...less room to palpitate..
