@ahamedkabirrefayee - In one of interviews by Rahman, he was asked how he was able to keep himself humble and down to earth when he was getting attention, popularity he never imagined. He pointed his fingers at Illayaraja. Raja may be is what you said but still Rahman learned how to be humble from him.

Ilayaraja is not a humble person and he is not a down to earth person, he is a head weighted one, he never tolerate that a r rahman is being famous around the world. It can be seen from many other occasions. He might be good producer of music but he is not good person. he has nothing good things to learn by others.

man u said it..thats the beauty of rahmans music..seems so simple but the layering and texture cannot be felt right away..thts y his music is not always instantly liked most of the times...i think arr is famous for the wrong songs like muqala or fast numbers and for wrong reasons like slumdog(which btw is below avg by his own stds)
