Nicholas White, the cathedral's assistant organist at the time (& former organ scholar at Clare College, Cambridge), performs the final movement of Vierne's Symphony #1. The spectacular instrument in the world's 6th-largest cathedral is 189 ranks/10,650 pipes. Recorded in 1996 on analog equipment & transferred thru several media formats over the years: hence the distortion, etc.
