The chandelier does make it seem Phantom-ish, but it was actually supposed to be Beauty and the Beast, which is why Meatloaf kept looking at himself in the mirror, hating what he looked like. When Beauty agreed to be his girl, his ugliness disappeared, just like in the fairytale. Either way, this video was totally hilarious!

This was genius! Thanks dascottjr for making me laugh when I was feeling literally like a walking piece of s***.

And about the video, I am the only who thinks the whole vibe bizarrely reminds of Phantom of the Opera (not ALW version, I am talking about the Leroux book)? I know the guy is not masked, but still, he throws a freakkn' chandelier on the cops, has a stalker obsession with a girl, is ugly and stays on the dark to hide his "ugliness".... coincidence? I don't think so.
