This method uses "high" current 12VDC and a sacrificial wire setup to trigger with a pushbutton and relay on my light box.

  • reason it takes so long to ignite is that Extension corddump it --use 12 guage standard Car wire and use common

flip switch from Radio shack 12v DC 10 amps --

We light huge multi D rockets allday with just 4 D batteries 6 volts Duracell.

  • the difference is in the ignitor. Mine are home made and just the thinnest strand I had kicking around. But yeah, a 14awg 10ft cord worked much better than this 50ft of 16awg. Lots of current drop.

  • u wasted so much batteries wires and shit on that

  • nothing was wasted, the lights the batteries, the wire, the switch and relay... all stuff I had laying around and allmost all completely reusable in somthing else... infact the battery is in my camry right now.

  • Jesus that much Juice is enough to ingite a MK-61 two car batteries in series = 24 volts 1200 amps to Photostrobes to ???????????= goodbye CITY Actually ones yours truely--DOE uses are GELL CELLS at 25 amps a piece with super heavy duty capcitors...

  • actually two 600CCA batteries in series wouls produce 24 volts at 600CCA, in parallel they would make 12 volt at 1200CCA. just fyi.

  • U didn't rly explain it... Like how u needed an extension cord a car battery and bout 50 feet of wire but other thn tht it was pretty kewl

  • Just a suggestion man : about the battery, why don't you use a scooter's one ? Egual voltage, little size, easier to transport.

  • como lo hisiste

  • this is overly elaborate, u could just use a walkie talkie, wire, and steel wool

  • :D Nice shoes man

  • haha i thought that was a police car outside

  • LOOOOL

  • lame

  • how about something smaller, lightweight and able to be attatched underneath a RC aircraft activated by remote control. (flares not rockets but anything is possible)

  • just use a lighter..
