this is the same story as the crameys from sydney. only it was the mother and 2 daughters who were caught up in the cult. The father and a son and daughter stayed in Sydney, but when the youngest son was diagnosed as having leukemia, the mother took him to england to get treatment. within 6 months the son was dead. The mother was convinced that scientology could cure him. She had had a large compensation payment for the loss of a finger, and that was the money she used to pay for his treatments.

I think that if Scientology really claims not to be a CULT, why don´t they remove HUBBARD´S pictures and statuettes from ALL their temples facades and walls? In fact, it would be a positive sign if all religions or mayor sects remove from their facades and public rooms any signs of religious IDOLATRY. Symbology alone can serve the purpose of any kind of church. The "smiling, serene or dying" faces of religious founders are simply signs of morbid BIGOTRY. I´m only a FREE THINKER, not a Scngst!
