Why would she and Bill go to the trouble of arranging for her father to accept that money from the sleaze when they could have just gotten it directly from the sleaze? The sleaze threw a celebration for her when she got the money, so he sure knew it was for her, and certainly that she wasn't using it for school. I just really don't get this episode. If anyone's seen it and figured it out, let me know!

I'm not sure I get it though
*SPOILER ALERT*
The girl wants to be with Bill, not Ron, so Bill takes naked photos of her and sends them to her father knowing he'll go to the sleaze, who wants to offer him a bribe. She tells her father Ron won't be with her because her scholarship disappeared, knowing that her father will then accept the sleaze's bribe. Her father gives her the money for school, which she takes to elope with Bill. Is that kinda it?
