DOJ 'scare tactics' to stop medical marijuana

Many states that were headed towards a medicinal legalization path have started to back off after the DOJ recently sent letters to states, threatening that they will go after state employees and will look at both civil and criminal penalties for those who run large scale operations, even if they are acceptable under state law. So why the drastic shift in policy? Scott Morgan with StoptheDrugWar.org weighs in.

When the country realizes that the government is becoming unjust as a dictator, then and only THEN will they legalize weed, for support efforts... then they will take it away again.

I'm in favor of medical marihuana but first we need to legalize it for getting stone purposes! Plain and simple, the honest truth. C'mon government people, you're taking to long in accepting this! Let's legalize it and move on. Next topic... social health care? Yes? No? Let's talk about that. Thats a debate right there. Not marihuana! Marihuana is a plant. It's like saying dogs are now illegal because they're not the safest animals etc... Smoke a blunt with your friends and family and enjoy :P

@Adethieou1 Oh please lol. Cartels deal with cocaine, that's where the big money is. Marihuana is just a plant that everyone loves. Most people that cultivate it are not connected to any cartels etc, at least now...

people that want "medical" marijuana legalized, are just as fruit as those that dont want it legalized at all... when the goverment makes a plant illegal, that should be a big ass red flag for everyone, that they have an absurd goverment.. but to guys like me, its very hard to fathom that people want a goverment ruling over them like slaves to begin with.. so it all seems ridiculous to me
