The famous submarine the SSN 571 Nautilus was the first nuclear powered submarine. It was the culmination of years of planning and creativity from Admiral Hyman Rickover. The Nautius was the first sub to go under the North Pole

    The sinking of the US submarine was not reported...

    Many US atomic submarines have more than 100 crew members. They operate the submarine by night and day shifts, so the crew is large. If a US submarine sank under the third buoy, there could have been many victims, their number comparable to those who died in the Cheonan incident. An American submarine sinking near the third buoy may change into fact given enough time.
