  • Eurostar is a TGV modified to run on UK tracks. It has two power cars plus a powered car adjacent to each power car. The latest TGV, known as AGV, has no power cars, but the power units are distributed along the train as is the case with ICE 3 in Germany - it is still a TGV despite this, though technically it could also be classed as an EMU. The TGV, AGV and Eurostar were all built by the same manufacturer, though in different places.
