Davis Anarctica is not supposed to see daylight this month. It says the sun is supposed to be "Down all day". Well it isn't....

If the sun was in a noticeably different place in the Antarctic, it would also be in a noticeably different place everywhere else in the world too. This is a joke.

WTF!!?? This was in June which is winter so the south pole shouldn't be getting daylight at this time...pole shift??

Great observation. However in this case it is actually the Moon shine and not direct sunlight. Notice that each day the occurrence moves on by one hour.

@AdrianIII thats the thing...it's supposed to be COMPLETELY DARK there...no sun light for like 3 months I believe, I agree, that it could be ambient light in the atmosphere. if it were the right time for that to start being seen. there is supposed to be absolutely NO sun light what-so-ever. Sun rising this time of the year in Antarctica, should throw up GIANT red flags, that something in the planets rotation/axis, is severely fucked up right now...

Too bad that the sun is not in the frame. This could be just bright sky light, rather than direct sunshine. During the bright periods, there are no clearly defined shadows. Also, the camera will do its own exposure adjustments as the light changes. The "bright" time might not be all that bright to the human eye.
