Vacuum fixes, CIS fixes, and a lot of fine tuning and idle fixes as well as sealing the CIS system to get it right. The vacuum lines are still needing fixing and a lot of parts still need polished and fixed. However, it has come a long way and is finally running much more smoothly than it was prior.

  • that sounds better than building the engine again, less money involved.i think, are you doing a 944 n/a swap or another 924 swap?

  • Sticking with the 924 N/A, MIGHT go turbo later on. I have a 944 as a daily and it's fun enough (meaning it's a pain) to work on. I don't feel like working on 2 944 engines haha. The 924 is as simple as can be and can still be build well.

  • sounds like you have a piston slapping in one of the sleeves, arethe rings new or are you using the original?

  • Yeah that engine ended up being hosed. I'm currently in the process of doing an engine swap to a later year system :)
