hey I'm attending this spring 2012.. what is the best dorms for a transfer students... and do they have single rooms i hated sharing a room

@Chelle13 lol I understand. The only places that have singles are Palmetto South and Phase 3, which are on campus apartments. They have single rooms but you will have 3 other roommates and you will share a bathroom with one of them.

Do You HAVE TO STAY ON CAMPUS YOUR FRESHMAN YEAR CAUSE I HEARD DIFFERENTLY SOME FRESHMEN STAYING OFF CAMPUS N STUFF IF YES HOW U GO ABOUT DOING IT

@MrLoveme121 No you don't have to stay on campus your Freshman year but they want you to, simply because you can get the experience of living on campus. If you don't want to stay on campus there are other solutions such as off campus housing which is Student Solutions, they work with the school. The places they offer to you are University Gardens, University Courtyard, Adams Pointe, Jennings Place, and College Club. So you have many choices and all these are located near FAMU. :)

@bamathikchik hey i just checked n it said i got Palmetto North double what does that mean.. could you explain what exactly it is.. also would i be able to change to get a single room?
