University of North Carolina Television Sign-off from Summer 1999

This sign-off of UNC-TV was recorded during one of my many vacations to Myrtle Beach, SC. It was received via cable from WUNJ-TV, Channel 39, Wilmington (Unfortunately, due to reception issues at the motel, the video is grainy). First up is a promotional clip inviting people to support the UNC-TV network. The sign-off announcement follows, displaying a list of the eleven stations of the network as well as the twenty-three translator stations located in the North Carolina mountains. The video also features views of Asheville's Biltmore House and the Old Guilford Mill located north of Greensboro (about 20 minutes away from the Webmaster's residence). The color bars follow, which features a stereo audio test (left, right, left, tone).
