  • I have never met Chris Ducey in my life....and I have never heard Chris Ducey's version of Songs OF Protest. I have never made a penny off this album or any of the songs on it. I made $200 in 1965 for writing and recording the Chris Lucey version. I haven't violated anyone's rights by making a video of what was been done with my record by Rev-Ola.... everybody else profited...I have not.....

  • @oatstao but this is minor compared to what he has shared..Thanks Jameson. BUT... Please Bobby tell us more about Ducey. He's a gifted songwriter in his own. GIve him some dues too.

  • @birdthoughts what exactly are you protecting? Everyone has rights. And your right to say ignorant things is apparent. No one is stopping you. I have some issues with Bobby too, like he has not once mentioned what the original Chris Ducey tapes sounded like, and how they influenced the songs he 're-wrote' That's suspiciously missing out of the context. He certainly does not post all or even close to all COmments on his blogs. He picks and chooses the favorites. THere are some hard questions...

  • @birdthoughts fool!

  • @birdthoughts Come on man, what the fuck! What's your problem like? You know Joe Foster or something? Listen to the great music.

  • Sounds like it's time to take it to a physical level man. Don't be a sucker.

  • All power to the artist and no one else. The artist should always have the rights to they're art regardless of any crime or shady dealing. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either a picket crossing SCAB or makes a living off of stealing the other artist's work themselves. It's no surprise that the rights were illegally stolen because it's truly great, thought provoking music. If all the people in the world did listen to this music, then the powers that be would have some shit on their hands.

  • There are thousands of musicians and songwriters in this position. I know there was some talk of organizing, including lobbyist to present their case in government, but I don't recall the name of the group. If one hasn't been formed, one should be. Good work and music. I hope you release this yourself. I'd buy it.

  • @iantm BJ has no rights to this song, no rights to these photos of people he's collecting and posting (while at the same time whining about his copyright being violated), and is blaming Foster for his own failures/mistakes. I don't believe Foster gave BJ permission to publish his photos, nor did anyone else pictured herein. Bobby is also violating Foster's privacy and right to be left alone with these libelous statements. BJ should go to court if he truly believes Foster is to blame.
