Intimidator 305 - Kings Dominion 2010

Kings Dominion unveils the largest single capital investment in the park's history, Intamidator 305, in April of 2010. The $25 million dollar Intamin AG manufactured coaster takes the title of the tallest and fastest mid-Atlantic coaster standing at 305 feet and reaching a top speed of 92mph along its 5100 foot track. Also among the ride features are a nearly-vertical 85 degree first drop, three high-speed turns, and 6 instances of airtime. Intimidator 305 is the newest of of only three giga coasters currently operating in the world and follows ten years after the first two, Millennium Force (310 feet) and Steel Dragon 2000 (318 feet), were built.
