No force working dog training. Another old video of ranger in her second stage of basic hrd training. Up to this point she had only been imprinted on cadaver source as a puppy. My former sar team had her all over the place as a puppy, live-cadaver-live, and we parted ways in short order. Then she blew out her knee which stopped all work for months. This is us at the cusp of re-introducing her to human remains. I'm talking about thousands of trials from zero to down to stay to recall to frustration mitigation as a puppy to this as a young adolescent. In the video you can see us working to maintain her find command. It was shaped and put on stimulus control in previous weeks. She has since blown the same knee again and is pretty much retired/ washed-out. It's a damn shame because we still work hard and she makes it look so easy. She is now a demo dog and we train on scent here and there for fun.
