holy crap... nice right hand technique!

Tell me what you used on the POD. What modulation, stomp box, reverb, amp, and delay.
-
Did this music come with the PODtx or did you have to program it in?
I have a Yamaha Motif 8. I suppose I can get that to do the same thing.
Man you play fantastic!

Is that a one piece body or 2 or 3 piece? Nice jam man.

@marinblues I prefer the Gt-5. I'm not sure, but I've heard the later GT's can't chain the effects in the same way.

mmm..nice sound..;)

Yeah, there seems to be confusion about what constitutes jazz. I see video after video of dudes playing blues style on 335-like gits, as if the mere act of holding one those axes invokes the ghost of Stevie Ray. Your video is terrific--I secretly play jazz on my strat and my Switch Oscar IV--love your technique and musicality (the most important thing, after all). It is, however, misclassified as "jazz" imho.

@moe761 isn't it blues :S
ok cool thx mate, im gettin my xt live tomorrow so i wanna be ready so i can get some good tones right away. any advice for creating a good blues tone like yours?

keep the distortion level low and add some reverb and delay.

can i ask you a question, or anyone that can answer me this? is it best to plug a pod xt live through the front of an amp rather than the effects loop, and if so what bank sets are best used?
thx

I would use either at the front of the amp (on the clean channel) or to the "Send return" in the loop. I suggest to tweak your own tones which will match your amp.
