This is an old one from 2011 but I find my video collection was missing some emphasis on driving skills. My buddy is driving my CRV and I told him to keep it at 4000rpm to 6000rpm... Obviously, it not being his vehicle and it being very close to redline, he didn't feel confident enough (or didn't believe me) to drive as suggested. As you'll see, the 2nd time around he follows my direction and even when he hits a really deep spot (watch for flying snow from all 4 wheels) he powers through thanks to wheel speed and sidewall traction (left to right steering with BFG A/T's).

  • Ну так и не плохо покатался!

  • I admit I was very unconformable with my first attempts. I had a fear of over reeving and really didn't have the FEEL for Joe's CR-V . (I think it was my second time driving it ever!) Something to note is that this vehicle is a 5 speed and that little 2.0 L doesn't make enough torque to move all four Goodrich under 4000rpms in first gear. I think my paranoia of abusing an unfamiliar vehicle led me to let the rpms drop to 3600rpms where the truck would run out of torque and just stop!
