  • hmm...i prefer chauntelle singing this song...

  • I don't know what you're talking about, but Stacy has ALWAYS been the one who sings this song. Chauntelle has never done any other part than the bridge/verse 3.

  • I love this song! it's my favorite off Combinations.

does anyone know what Stacy is singing in the beautifully amazing new intro?

I got most of it, but I can't tell what one or two lines were.

  • "Why do we have to come through here tonight?

She says, "I'm in the dark, but nobody's coming for me." Oh (love...?) I could be anywhere you are, I could be anywhere you need, I could be there for you.

i can't tell if she just says "oh" or "oh love".

  • I can't stop listening to this. I absolutely love how eisley transforms and evolves.

  • @TheMarshKing Do you remember what other songs Chauntelle sings solos in during the Moss Eisley days?

  • @TheMarshKing I think the lyrics are:

Why do we have to come through here tonight?

    She says,"I'm in the dark,

and nobody is coming for me."

I could be anywhere you are,

I could be anyone you need,

and I could be there for you.

  • OMG SHERRI I F*CKIN LOVE YOU (!!!)

  • I love how everyone cheers for Chauntelle!! Happened in Detroit as well. So good.

  • Amen to that. It's about time they come by on a Friday or Saturday, already.

  • most of their songs are like that. i didn't care for 'go away' until i heard a live version they did in the rec park.

  • No, It's Stacy. Like I said, Chauntelle has never done the entire song. Her singing a part of this song was a huge thing. Chauntelle hasn't been singing for years. This is the first time she did a solo part on an Eisley album in YEARS. The last time she did a solo part was in the Moss Eisley days.

  • no when it was first preformed with out the new beging... the original was with chauntelle

....at least the version i always listen to ....

  • oh really? then i must be dreaming then...lol :)
