@TheStylogicalMap His perspective is immature and misleading. Moore does some of the very same things he condemns. He brings attention to valid issues then distorts the solutions by mischaracterizing the problems

@prrolg I hear what you're saying and that analysis may in fact be closer to the truth than we know. So, if we accept that what you say is true, he manipulates media to prove his points, does that actually make his perspective less valid than if he hadn't done that? Though it is ethically reprehensible that Moore distorts the presentation of recent history in order to support his points, does it actually indicate that his points do not have meaning and relevance to our present plight?

@TheStylogicalMap I think that Moore makes his documentaries by stating what he wants to say and then does anything he must to support his point. Another example, Moore used Charleton Heston in his Bowling for Columbine movie. And he used clever shots and edits to make it look like Heston cared only about gun rights and didn't care a hoot about a little girl who was shot in Detroit just prior to his appearance and the NRA convention. When in fact it is probable that Heston was never aware of it.

@prrolg That's a good example. So you are saying that in the content of Fahrenheit 911, Moore is so obsessed with convincing his audience of his particular view point that he fails to present an open and balanced view of the events and decisions leading up to the war in Iraq... and according to this line of thought, you reason that each of Moore's public presentations are clouded by similar distortions of the facts. Am I getting it now?
-
@TheStylogicalMap No. I'm not sure how you read all of that into my comment. What I am saying is that Michael Moore is an ideologue who uses lies to get his extremely biased beliefs accepted by as many people as possible. For example, Fahrenheit 911 was a movie made to show that Pres Bush lied us into war and killed thousands of people for oil. But deaths in Afghanistan now are of no consequence because Obama, who he approves of, is commander in chief.
-
@prrolg As I read it, you don't believe Michael Moore has anything significant to say because he's some kind of sell out, and particularly beholden to the Democratic party in the US? Is that about right?
-
@TheStylogicalMap Haha cool answer :)
-
@prrolg I suppose I dint, but it's all good :)

@TheStylogicalMap You dint unerstand my coment.
Michael Moore is a courageous and dedicated American. As a Canadian, I pray that his caring and courage will be contagious. I wonder if Americans realize what a great opportunity it is to have Obama in Office. Good luck America. Don't let the 1% rich that owns America, actually run America.

Rosceo85cj... he actually give the majority of his money to charity. He doesn't have any money in stock market etc... because after all would Jesus have a hedge fund or a capitalist IRA, 401k that contributes to the suffering of others? You sir are an uneducated fool. The wonders of the patriot act... Michae Moore is a patriot who acts!
