Purchased from TigerDirect, item number: H54-2400, for $539.99. This monitor came with a 3 year repair warranty. I have had to send mine in 4 times, it cost me $35 dollars to send it in each time. This is a video that the repair people at Hyundai wanted to see to prove the monitor was broken, because every time I sent it in they sent it right back with the EXACT SAME ISSUES!!! I will never buy from Hyundai EVER AGAIN. So far I have invested $714.99, plus the original $57.95 I spent when I originally purchased this, for a whopping grand total (so far) of: $772.94. WOW, who is the real fool for purchasing this monitor? He is writing this!

  • @ gohan2091... keep in mind, I had to send it in 4 times before the issue got fixed... Keep at it. If it's still under warranty, they will issue an RMA. See if you can contact Steve Choi there and talk to him... Here is their Telephone: 800-568-0060.

I am using the monitor right now, and it looks great. Can you link your video to mine as well so I can see?

The only reason I posted it here was so Steve could see what the problem was. After that he replaced the monitor. Looks good!

  • Is this the PVA or TN panel?

  • I got this thing as soon as it came out a few years ago now, and paid over 500 bucks for it. So the first versions were PVA, and then they started shipping the TN panel's later. Mine was the PVA model... I am happy to also include that the 5th time was a charm with Hyundai, and they FINALLY just replaced the entire monitor this last time. The new (I'm sure-reconditioned) one I got has been going strong now for about a week, and when it's working (as this one is..) it is an AWESOME monitor!!!!

  • My W240D died after 2 years 3 months. At my company we have 100 Dell monitors that have lasted for 8 years.

  • Same problem here, bro. I sent it previously because it was giving me flickering and now it doesn't even light on. When it came first for repair it worked, but in only a week it has broke down again. Is kinda bothering.

  • @wslines I'm having a problem with my W240D PVA too, different to yours. I am glad you got it sorted, I have posted videos of mine on Youtube and it did go back for repair but nothing was fixed :(
