--Everyday the number of Americans becoming overweight rises due to the lack of exercise.

--Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy.

*If youre in the mood to pull out your calculator, follow these steps to determine your BMI:

1.Multiply your height in inches times your height in inches.

2.Divide your weight by the number you arrived at in Step 1.

3.Multiply the number you came up with in Step 2 by 705.

The result is your BMI.

  • Its very important that children get the right information about exercise, obesity nutrition, etc. This will help them to develop in a better way and making the right choices about their health. In must cases children do not know about this topics, so its no surprise that they grow with bad habits.
