A huge Texas thank you to all who worked so hard to get the freedom candidate elected as governor of this great state! I cannot tell you how humbled I am to have been able to carry your banner forth. Even though we didn't win this battle, we will not give up fighting for the people. We will be ever vigilant to hold our elected officials responsible.

What We Texans have accomplished has not only caught the attention of the nation and the world but it has inspired as only truth can inspire. We have not lost hope. We have energized and will strengthen our resolve to fight another day.

I will concede to the loss of this battle but I do make concessions that reduce this fight to the level of mere sport. Our freedom is being stripped away and I will not appologize on behalf of my countrymen that our message was any less than what the originals Founders were fighting for...our Life, our Liberty and our property.
To whomever wins the Texas governorship in November, the eyes of Texas will be upon you.

God Bless Texas,

Debra Medina

  • thank goodness texan's are not letting alex jones and glen beck cloud the issues. Property rights, 2nd amendmeny, EPA, education, trans texas corridor, nullification, is what she stands for and she has never wavered. If you are lead by alex jones, you are still asleep. There is only one choice for Texas govenor. Debra Medina, the peoples choice. Go Texans!!!

  • I see the whole "what might she do in the future?" debate as mere speculation based on an uncomfortable response to a divisive issue.

I can see how some might be insulted by her agreeing to negative comments about "truthers" but one has to consider these things in context.

She's easily the best candidate. If people want to throw away their vote on more of the same it's their choice, but they'd just be playing into the hands of those pesky PTB.

One must have power in order to wield it wisely.

  • @continuityofliberty Imo, it benefits the PTB, those who want to keep anyone who is sympathetic to "truthers" out of elected office. Yes, she was cornered. Is that going to be the last time if she wins elected office? For every difficult issue there exists the possibility of being cornered. You see my point. I hear what you're saying, and I can agree with the sentiment. 9-11 was not a litmus for me, I'm sorry it is for her. I suspect we both want liberty and ethical (small) govt.

  • "My perception is being clouded?"

The issue of 9/11 within Debra Medina's run for Governor is only an issue because of Glenn Beck, Alex Jones, and other radio personalities.

She was cornered and now finds herself criticized by both those who believe 9/11 was an inside job and those that do not.

    Who does this benefit?

If you cannot see how both you and Medina (and others) have been led into a box the powers that be would like you in than your perception is indeed clouded. (IMO)

  • @continuityofliberty My perception is being clouded? First, I still recommend a vote for Medina, but I would contend that your preception is clouded because you [apparently?] refuse to recognize the fact that she said one thing and then - after getting pressured - flip-flopped and now is saying something else, something unkind about people who want to question government. Yes, I find that troubling, because now I wonder if she will stick to her guns, if you will. That's fair. It's not clouded.

  • Yes, it is gradual. Slowly, politicians offer us all sorts of "free" stuff. We don't seem to realize that we are paying for it, and we are losing control. We become like the grateful dog being fed his own tail.

Soon, people look to government to do what they should do for themselves. Eventually, our politicians take over and we realize that we have lost our freedom. It is our greed and our laziness - human nature that the Criminal Class, the politicians, take advantage of.

  • i voted for her last Friday

  • Even truthers recognize that a Medina governorship is a step in the right direction.

  • Oh please...

I think 9/11 was an "inside job" and I don't care who agrees - it'll all come out in the wash sooner or later, but with politicians like Debra in office the Government wouldn't even have the ability to do such things.

Without people like her it'll take longer to get to the truth. Whether she agrees with me and/or she was pushed into being perceived as both a truther AND as someone who sees truthers as wrong is beside the point.

Perception is crucial and yours is being clouded.
