"So our job instead of trying to come up with lots of ways to trick out the process and make it more and more complicated is just to shut up, get out of the way, and let her do her job. She's been doin fine at it for millions of years and will for millions more." Hell yea! Great way to put it out nice and straight! Love your videos man, been watching them all morning, definitely gonna have to subscribe, you got some great stuff on here!

Are there certain foods to eat to make your feces make what youre growing taste better??
-
i'm trying to fine-tune what I eat because i find it satisfying to know that when i pick a tomato off a plant in my garden, MY OWN FECAL MATTER helped it to grow big and healthy. Are there any certain foods that will make my feces maybe give a tomato a more robust taste? Please any suggestions???

What if I deceided to live on a diet of nothing but blue cheeze, canned tuna, and sour kraut for an entire month? Would my defacation deposits still be useful for composting or would the scat be too acidic and kill the plants?

if I defacate in a bucket and leave it out in the Northern CA cold for a season, will my hearty helping of scat still be usable for composting even after freezing????

Yes. Some people I know who use the bucket system in northern New England in winter just put a lid on the bucket (or keep it under cover where it won't get buried in the snow) when it's full, then let it sit frozen until spring comes and it can be dumped on the compost pile.

Thanks for pointing out some of the myths. Also for those who say your full of crap, don't feel alone, i'll pintch one off for them too.
I was wondering one thing, how does winter effect the compost and does using a barrel and pushing it help speed up the process? I know you said the pitch fork thing is a myth but wont rotation help anyay? Additionally, to much heat; will it hurt or help as long as its moist? if so, whats to hot?

In winter the pile freezes, but when the temperature warms it thaws and the microorganisms go back to work. In my opinion, most of the barrels and gadgets just get in the way. For specifics google "humanure handbook", it's online for free.
