  • Hi, Great work. Where did you get your 2 quick release plates and adapters? I have got all the other parts together to build your follow focus. Hope to hear from you soon. Anthony Hill.

  • @anthonybhill Hi Anthony. Thank you for your post. You can go to dslrexperiment d o t com

in the MY DIY section. I have a complete list of parts with links where you can buy them.

When you are done building your version, can you please send me pictures... I'd love to see how others do.

  • Very clever. Do you think you could change the angle so the wheel faces the back? Easier to fit on short prime lenses and see the marker dick from behind.

  • @TheAE35Unit Yes it fit on both side, but you don't save any space. I try it this morning and it's the same size but it's harder to reach the focus wheel.

  • Thumbs up if you watch these Videos but you're to lazy to do it :D

  • Hey, nice project. Can you tell me how long your base plate ( sorry I don't know the right word, I'm German) is?

  • ale braquette

  • @anthonybhill just google QR plate. Or go to amazon and get a qr manfrotto plate.

  • first let me start by asking you ... are u serious ? this was hardly diy ... you had a pro base plate ..... second the handle is supposed to be straight ... not turned ... you should make it better ...but all in all for a basic "FRICTION FOCUS" not to bad

  • Whoever made this video has a habbit of acting outside the video-frame.

Ever thought about actually watching the screen while filming?

  • I like your project

    but I do not think

that you need 2 macro rail

    but I like your project

  • Thanks for such a quick reply. I will keep you posted. Cheers.

    Anthony
