Mount Carmel is a school for troubled teens aimed at helping integrate at risk youth back into society.

How do we help troubled teens? By unfolding the boy's mind as God created it through "Reality Therapy" on a 40,000 acre working cattle ranch!

Wilderness Program at Mt Carmel Youth Ranch

Our program targets at risk teens through mind, spirit, and body intervention with activities aimed at behavior modification. Mount Carmel Youth Ranch (MTC) was founded in 1992 and is located on a 40,000 acre working cattle ranch in northwest Wyoming. Mt. Carmel is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young men with behavioral issues.

  • Mount Carmel Helped my son become a man. He was lost to drugs and crime and we felt hopeless! Mount Carmel treated him as part of their family. they gave him a purpose for his life and they taught him how to handle his emotions in a healthy way. We now have a loving and healthy relationship with our Son!

    Thank you Mount Carmel!

  • Jerry and his wife should recieve the highest reward for patriotism.

  • @back2back777 whats your name iwent there

  • the horses were pretty dope though :)

  • that place is awful. i wasted a year of my life there with a bunch of ignorant, self righteous assholes. especially the ones from steubenville. they think that working your ass of with little to no safety precautions will help you become a better person. sounds like some sound logic to me. the only positive outcome that came from me going here was a stronger work ethic. but everything else just made matters worse. and it gives a bad name to all christians.

  • a joke. The website is bullshit and I can tell you from experience and knowing dozens of boys that came through the ranch, that the majority of boys don't do well when they get out. The success rate is a joke. Figure out something else for your kid.

  • If any parents out there are ambivalent on whether or not to send your kids to this ranch, please don't. Sure some kids do well after leaving, but for how long? I went to this ranch and it did nothing for me except show me how close minded and ignorant people can be. I was on drugs before this ranch and then shortly after. Im sober now but with no thanks to this place. I was at Mount Carmel for a couple years and I can't tell you how much injustice I saw. And their academic "programs" are

  • @DjLuxorXradio Oh and thanks for serving our country.

  • @DjLuxorXradio program and support. Where did you come up with the idea that counseling and meds never work? You're an ignorant fuck if you think that psychological issues and addictions can simply be fixed with a strong work ethic. Oh yeah totally, a few will die but who cares??? Statements like that prove that our country is still inhabited by close minded "christian" pieces of shit like you. Please do the world a favor and go wrap your lips around a shotgun.

  • @DjLuxorXradio Yeah, the difference between bootcamp and wilderness progams is that it was your choice to enlist. These kids get dragged off to a place that they don't want to be and arent able to leave until they accept dogmatic religious principles that might not make sense to them. I was at Mount Carmel for a couple years and it completely fucked with my mind. I was on drugs before this ranch and started doing drugs right after I left. I've been sober now for awhile with a twelve step
