Do I need to shower first if I want to play clean ;)

Usually. Real hard rockers rarely shower and they almost exclusively use distortion.

Good points in there - especially playing clean during practice - I usually just whack on the dist/OD to cover up all the flaws or mistakes! It does help you hear what you are really playing though.

i dont think hygiene defines what a rocker is. any one who rocks is a rocker, from bb king to jimmy page...and please stop talking and start teaching
